The Movie Fan

This is the second movie I’ve watched where Jeniffer Garner is the main cast. The first one was Daredevil where Ben Affleck was his partner. Hmmnnn..i started to love Jeniffer Garner because of her famous tv series Alias.

Anyways, I actually bought a VCD of this movie. It’s original and I got it from Sine Vision it only costs P35. I watched it just in the computer. Though I was having a hard time hearing the conversation of the characters (because the speaker is not functioning well) it still didn’t hinder me. Hahahahhaa…I put the speaker that works fine near my ears.

The story is super nice though it is just pretty common and simple. A 13 year old kid got a crush with someone, wanted to be like the other girls in school and has a very loyal and nice bestfriend. During her birthday, she invited them but she was just being fooled by those mean girls that ending up Matt (Mark Ruffalo) as to be blame. In a certain room, she was just crying and wishing to be someone…and that is how she become 30….

She got everything but she loses her bestfriend. She was surprised of the different things that had happened to her after that. It was like in just one snap of a finger, everything change. Luckily, she got the chance to see him again but Matt is already engage…How, sad isn’t it? I even cried.

That’s why she wishes to be 13 again. Diyan lang muna..kayo na bahala magsearch sa ending…

Hmmnn..i give this movie 3/5! 

I am really intrigued with this movie because of the promotions of ABS-CBN. So, when my mother asked me few weeks ago to accompany her in going to the movie house, without having a second thought i said "yes". The reasons: it has been a couple of months since i watched a movie in the big screen, i want to see if this movie is really great as the people have been saying and more importantly i want my mother to be happy.

What’s my say? I was expecting too much that’s why it turn out that i didn’t like the movie. The experienced was just oh well, okay. Not satisfied with the drama, comedy, acting and the whole story. It was just light and  just normal story for a couple. But i must say, a lot of people was in the cinema during the time we watched. I just hope they have enjoyed watching it.

Well, i don’t want to be talking a lot about this movie. My ratings would be 2.5/5! I am looking forward to watch those other movies in the Metro Manila Film Festival so that i can compare well the movies they have offered last December 2006.

It was never my plan to watch a movie that time because i don’t have money but after checking my ATM and later found out that i have something to spend i decided to treat myself in an another big screen experienced and eat outside ( the last movie i watched was Snakes on a Plane ) I intend to watch Casino Royale but since Roan requested me to have a suspense and horror experienced i gave in.  I told to myself okay, let us see if the commercial and all that promotions are really true because many are attesting that the movie is really good. 

My movie experienced? There are instances that i shouted but it was not a 100% manifestation that i was frightened because of the scene. It was because i just want to count up to the noise others were doing. [ Silly me ] About the two story, i found it not that engrossing. I think the ‘Wag Kang Lilingon’ tag line was not just apt. I found it not justifiable [ i don’t know for some reasons in my mind ]. I don’t like how Melissa (Anne Curtis) turned out to be after the bad incident that had happened to them when she was still a child. Maybe because i always go for good things to happen instead of a bad one. They have said that the movie can be equated that to the Korean horror films yes, somehow because there are scenes that serves as the copy cats of them.

With regards to acting prowess, not that satisfied even. I will not point out anymore who made those actings that are not convincing or appealing to me. Gossh, i am so bitter in this post as if nothing good to convey. I was affected maybe because i was expecting too much from the movie considering it has a good cast which are Kristine Hermosa and Anne Curtis who did magnificently in the primitime scenes. Forgive me for saying all those stuff above.
