Nobody Knows

Finished watching this Japanese film just a few minutes ago.

I actually read an entry of a blogger about this movie while I did some blog hopping. He said that among the 10 movies he had seen for a week this one is his best choice. So, i searched it on Crunchyroll and my mother and I watched it.

This movie was first shown in the year 2004. The story is all about the four children left or abandoned by their mother. Have to survive life at a young age.

The story begins with the family moving in a different apartment. The single mother pretended that she has only one son but the two other children were hidden in the luggage while the other was waiting in station or terminal to be fetched during the night. They come from different fathers. They seem to be a happy family at first. The children are so obedient about the rules because the landlord might catch them. But when her mother got a new boyfriend and leave them with just a note and small amount of money, Akira being the oldest have to take good care of his siblings.

They were cut from the water supply, gas and electricity. The landlord was even wondering why they still have not able to pay their rent.  Akira couldn’t work because he is still 12 years old. He just gets food from the one being given by the store. They just go to the park to fetch water, pee and wash their clothes. There was even a time when they were so hungry. His younger sister, Yuki eats paper. An accident also happen when Yuki fell from the chair and died. They have to put her on the luggage again and buried her.

The story is so sad but there were no crying moments compared to Filipino movies. You can just see the character’s feelings or emotions from their face and how they react. It is a silent movie actually. Less talking and a bit slow in the phasing of story but it’s apt. There was only one musical background that I could remember and it was when Akira and his friend Saki return from the airport after they have buried Yuki. (It was the wish of Yuki to see the airport).

I was hoping for a happy ending but was never expecting because it is a sad story. I was wondering what will happen to them after Yuki died. Medyo bitin talaga but it was good enough. It was my first time to see a different attack/presentation of a certain movie.

I gave this movie 4/5!

Jenny and Juno

Honestly, I’m intrigued to watch this movie because a classmate of mine had been telling us that this movie is really nice. In addition to that, I read a certain entry of some blog about this Juno Juno stuff. (Now you know the reason? Who is asking by the way??? - Jahhh…, im just telling)

So how was the movie? Did it reach my expectation as to what they had said?? Oh, gossh..I hate the fact when others find it nice or good but honestly it wasn’t. It is again, my perception about the movie was first concluded by them that’s why I’m sort of affected. (How will i explain this properly??? -heheheheheh…I know you get what I am trying to say right? If not, then forget it.

The story is just pretty ordinary. Nothing interest me. I was looking for something. Waiting till the end but it never meet my expectations. It is because I was expecting too much. Too bad. Its just one of those shallow movies. Though there were morale/lessons learned but it’s part of every movie anyway.

For this movie, I gave it 2/5!

I won’t give up, I’m still positive!

Been encountering a lot of problems lately but good thing, i am surrounded with good people always praying for me. Last night, my mother was telling me of this certain good news. I was surprised and told her she shouldn’t hope for because my situation is still in 50-50 but when I later found out that I really qualify, then there’s a lot of reason not to lose hope.

I won’t give up and I’m still positive. With HIM always at my side I know everything will turn out fine. I hope I can move and touch them. Oh please, touch their hearts and consider us.

Good luck to us guys!

Paano Kita Iibigin

Middle of our thesis but I was still able to watch this movie. Hehehehhehe…Yeah, I was able to watch it while waiting for Sir Anque to arrive in their house. Remember this post? but this was a different day.

Anyways, Paano Kita Iibigin was a movie shown just last year. It was a Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez team up. Hmnnn..this adds up to my frustration to Filipino movies. You see, the promotions and all that advertisements seems to be saying that this movie is really nice but to tell you honestly, I hate it. Why do there are people in the television who says that the movie is super nice where in fact it is the exact opposite. Jahh…but its my fault again anyway because I still watch it. Good thing, I didn’t spend my money and time watching this movie in the big screen. Hehehehehhee…but i still respect their view if they find the movie nice but my point is if you didn’t find the movie great please don’t lie! That’s all. Sorry guys..ehehhehehe..

Marrying a Millionaire

Marrying a Millionaire is another Koreanovela offering of ABS-CBN to the public. The story seems to be interesting because it is just like the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. A rich man or woman trying to find someone he or she loves in a certain reality show.

It is actually airing but I never had the chance to watch it even a night. Jahhh..even though I am near to our television I can’t even give my time to it, maybe glance but not that time to concentrate watching tv. You see, this thesis is really making me sick. I hope we can get over with this. We need help so bad.

Anyways, to know more of this new Korean TV series check it out here.
