The Movie Fan

I am really intrigued with this movie because of the promotions of ABS-CBN. So, when my mother asked me few weeks ago to accompany her in going to the movie house, without having a second thought i said "yes". The reasons: it has been a couple of months since i watched a movie in the big screen, i want to see if this movie is really great as the people have been saying and more importantly i want my mother to be happy.

What’s my say? I was expecting too much that’s why it turn out that i didn’t like the movie. The experienced was just oh well, okay. Not satisfied with the drama, comedy, acting and the whole story. It was just light and  just normal story for a couple. But i must say, a lot of people was in the cinema during the time we watched. I just hope they have enjoyed watching it.

Well, i don’t want to be talking a lot about this movie. My ratings would be 2.5/5! I am looking forward to watch those other movies in the Metro Manila Film Festival so that i can compare well the movies they have offered last December 2006.

Another movie i have watched during christmas and new year’s break. Road Trip is quite naughty which can be equated to American Pie, infact one of the cast in this movie can also be seen in the latter movie i have mentioned. The story was all about this childhood sweetheart who had been separated when they reached college because they study on two different universities. They have promised to be faithful to each other but due to what they called irresistible temptation as what guys always reasoned out he had a one night affair with one of his schoolmates. The worst thing was they have it done in video and the video was mistakenly sent to her girlfriend. Since her girlfriend was out that time he had the chance to bring back the video by going to the university. He was accompanied by his friends and along the trip they have experienced so many things. There were they ran out of money, the car exploded and one of their friends had the greatest experienced of his life because he was able to know himself more. When they reached the place, a problem occur because the working staff don’t want to hand them the key so they need to force him in order for them to go to the room of her girlfriend. The protective parents of the guy and her girlfriend arrived and it then added up to the commotion that has been happening. Luckily, it was also solved and the two sweethearts talked and realized they have to end up their relationship. The guy end up with the one he had a one night affair. The good part in this movie was the narration done by one of his friend. I am not that satisfied watching the movie because i don’t like much the story line.
