Home Alone 3

I think this movie was shown many times in GMA-7 but i never had the chance to watch it before because i was kind of busy. Only this time luckily, because of Christmas break. Yeheey! This movie was the sequel of Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) which starred the famous Macaulay Culkin ( he is two years older than me). I have only seen the first Home Alone in the big screen, the second one not yet and home alone 3 just recently that’s why i am doing the sort of review here. Hmmnn, when i searched in Wikipedia i found out that there was still Home Alone 4 (gossh, i am left behind).

As the title says, the movie was all about a boy left alone in their home. But this time around it’s no longer Macaulay Culkin because he was actually 17 years old when this movie was first shown way back in 1997 instead the cute boy named Alex D. Linz who coveted the role (out of the 100 kids). The reason why he was left home because he has chicken pox. The movie started with an old lady mistakenly carried the wrong bag in the airport and brought it home. And in that bag was a remote controlled car and a microchip stolen that can act as a cloaking device for a missile. The four spies or thieves who were working in a North Korean terrorist organization searched for it along the neigborhood of Alex. The kid catches them in action inside the houses, and calls the police, but they manage to escape in the nick of time. This occurs twice, and eventually the police think that the child is faking that’s why her brother and sisters including her mother was kind of disappointed with him. This line was one of the many memorable that he said "Well, I guess you have to be 35 before anyone around here listens to you. " So, he made a plan on how to catch them. The traps he made was really funny (you know, work of a kid) but take note: smart kid. The four spies can just easily get the microchip but it has been shown that way because it was a comedy movie.

I am satisfied with the ending, really and i cried when he ran and embraces his mother. Ohh…a child doing a great job and becomes a hero. "Excuse me for being a good citizen", as he said. Ratings? 3/5! Congratulations!
