The Doll Master

Plot:

Five young people are invited to a remote doll museum to be models for dolls. Here they meet a strange doll maker in a wheelchair and several other people. The five young visitors later find that they all came from the same village, and all know a common story: a doll has its own spirit. Then one by one, each is mysteriously killed. The last few survivors find out the truth: dolls do have spirits, and they have come to settle some old scores.

Although this movie is not that frightening i still can say that it is a good one. The story line matters to me and the morale it gave to the audience which are to value our things, never judge a person right away and more importantly, to forgive and never revenge to those who have caused ill to you.

With regards to the cast, i like the one who played the doll. I like her face, she is pretty and she is just like a real doll. Its no question because the doll was made after her. Maybe if i have watched the movie in the big screen i would be quite frightened but because i have only watched it in the television plus with commercial breaks pa, the experienced is different.

Still, the movie is interesting. We were having a great time watching it.

What Lies Beneath

During the semestral break, watching movies was my pastime. And among those movies that i’ve watched,  What Lies Beneath (2000) is my featured old movie for today.

I like the plot. The man who has an affair with his student and the woman who is in the stage of educing the past. The student-teacher relationship and infedility issue which are being put into consideration and are just timely on what has been happening around. Just like last Sunday in one of the local show, our Mayor talked about this student-teacher issue and how he is mad about teachers who abuse their authority.

Anywayz, in the story Norman (Harrison Ford) killed his student. A heartless killing because he just threw the body into the lake. Pretended that nothing happened and live a normal life.

But you can never escape the truth. It will really show in any way it maybe like when Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer) started to be terrified of the sudden disappearance of her neighbor Mary. And from there strange things just happened. In the door, in her computer and when the picture always fell down from the table. She probed and found out that it was the ghost of the student whom Norman killed was haunting her. The interesting part of the movie where in the scenes of her escape from her husband especially in the bathtub.

Just a trying review, i rate this movie 3 out of 5.

Rosita, rosita!

Yeheey! Save na naman si Rosita. She was again saved by the teachers. She is really one of a kind. She draws our attention so much. I think she is just being so natural.

I just really love her. Although she  may be annoying sometimes, pasaway but she is just so entertaining. You made me and my whole family laugh Rosita! Oh Rosita, rosita….

Vote for Rosita! I know she doesn’t have really that amazing voice but i know that she will be a big hit. She will have her own album someday, she will become a succesful comedian and will be offered with lots of opportunities from different producers like movies, sitcoms, teleseryes and lots of appearances. Hehhehehehehe…..emoticon

I first thought that Pinoy Dream Academy would not be a hit but i was wrong because now, im beginning to love it. More and more!
